İklim Fide was founded in 2007 by Nazlı Ayhan Güvenç, who spent many years as a production engineer, supervisor and production manager at various companies in the seedling sector and gained extensive experience at every level of the industry, and by Arif Güvenç, who dedicated his career to the seed industry.
Production began in July 2007 in a leased seedling facility and, with visionary investment, grew rapidly from our own resources. In 2008 we moved to our own 9,000 m² site with 4,000 m² of greenhouse; the quality and trust we offered allowed us to expand steadily. Further investment followed: 9,000 m² in 2012 and 12,000 m² of modern, owned greenhouses in 2016, taking capacity to a high level.
Today, with nearly 30 years of production and management experience and an annual capacity of 45 million seedlings, we supply growers across Türkiye — mainly in the Mediterranean, Aegean and Marmara regions.
We specialise across our full range of vegetable seedlings, working to the principle of quality and on-time delivery. Our particular depth in lettuce seedlings means that even without a standing order we have the stock and production to meet demand 365 days a year.
